Capstone Project University of Miami - Palmer Lake District
Neo Group’s Palmer Lake project was selected as the 2023 Capstone Project as part of the University of Miami’s School of Architecture Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism (MRED+U) program. Neo Group’s ongoing involvement with the program showcases the firm’s commitment to working with and inspiring the next generation of developers to improve the communities in which they live and work. Lissette serves on the University of Miami’s Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism Advisory Board.
Amigos for Kids
Lissette Calderon has been on the board of the non-profit organization for over 20 years serving the needs of South Florida’s abused, abandoned and neglected children. Neo Group is also a proud sponsor of events.
Sewell Park Improvement
Neo Group worked closely with the City and County Officials to push for the beautification and improvement of the park for the area residents. Improvements included structural repairs, a new kids’ playground, new grills areas and improved landscaping.
Jose Marti Park improvement
Neo Group worked with the City and County Officials to push for the beautification and improvement of the park including structural repairs, beautification, and landscaping. The park was re-opened to the public after 10+ years closed.
Allapattah Community Day
With the top-off of No.17 Residences during the height of the pandemic in lieu of a topping off party, Neo Group, together with construction partner in the project, Jaxi Builders, worked with the Commissioner’s office to coordinate the delivery of a week’s worth of groceries provided by the project to 80 neighboring families.
